Batam Aero Technic Opens 600 Job Vacancies for Prospective Technicians until the Second Quarter of 2023

Batam Aero Technic (BAT) which is based in Batam, Riau Islands, a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) member of Lion Air Group that has been fully operational as a Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) announced the acceptance of 600 workers as technicians until the second quarter (period ends August) 2023. This recruitment is carried out as part of the development of the hangar, which will support BAT to offer and provide wider and more comprehensive aircraft maintenance services (MRO) to airlines around the world.

 

Planned hangar development in an effort to increase BAT's capacity to provide aircraft maintenance services and aviation components, so that it can meet the increasing demand from the Indonesian and global markets. In order to achieve this goal, BAT is committed to recruiting skilled and qualified workers who are able to operate and maintain hangar facilities.

  1. Position as a Licensed Aircraft Mechanic (basic license) or licensed aircraft technician is a person who has attended formal training and has an official license to carry out aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection. They are responsible for ensuring aircraft are safe and ready to fly.

  3. Physically and spiritually healthy.
  4. Graduates of aviation vocational education, vocational education in aeronautical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields
  5. Have licenses (Licensed Aircraft Mechanic) A1 and A4 or C1, C2 and C4 from aviation regulators.
    • The A1 license is the certification of aircraft technicians performing aircraft maintenance and repairs in aircraft structural parts, engines, and hydraulic systems of the aircraft.
    • The A4 license is the certification of aircraft technicians performing aircraft maintenance and repairs in the avionics section of the aircraft, such as communication, navigation, and measurement systems.
    • The C1 license covers the maintenance and repair of oversized aircraft with jet engines.
    • The C2 license covers maintenance and repair of medium-sized aircraft with jet and turbo-prop engines.
    • The C4 license covers maintenance and repair of aircraft with piston engines.
  6. Maximum age of 25 years - recently completed education (freshgraduate) and unmarried.
  7. Maximum age of 30 years - have experience in the field of aircraft maintenance.
  8. Able to read and understand technical documents in English.
  9. Able to work as a team and have good communication.
  10. Willing to be stationed in the entire Lion Air Group's work area.
